Jobsite Technology

Hilti is a world-class maker and distributor of high end tools for building construction. In addition to investing deeply to offer innovation to the technology of tools, they are also known their customer service to make the jobs of construction site managers easier.

The technology innovation group based at Hilti’s home office in Europe invited us to facilitate a design sprint with a local team in Manchester, England.

Over the course of several weeks, in partnership with Hilti employees and their customers that lead construction sites, we identified ways to improve the jobsite experience. Along the way, we defined customer journeys, created personas, created low fidelity prototypes that we tested on construction sites, and ultimately identified an opportunity to use technology to improve the value that Hilti brings to its customers.
